TTR: The Aging Proccess

The Tenth Doctor, Martha and Donna were heading for This Time Round. As
they passed Dunvworpin, Donna looked up, and thought she saw a familiar
face. She shuddered.

"That place gives me the creeps. I mean, having kiddie versions of us all
is kind of cute, but..."

"I know what you mean," said Martha, "And I feel a bit guilty about it.
I've thought about going to visit ... her ... but it's just too weird."

She lowered her voice so the Doctor, striding ahead, couldn't hear. "Mind
you, it's worse for him."

"Eh?"

"He's got more reason to be creeped out than the rest of us, but he's
also got more reason to be sympathetic to his counterpart."

"What are you on about?" Donna whispered back.

"You don't know?" She lowered her voice further, "He's *been* that age."

"Well, yes," said the Doctor, having heard everything, "But I was even
older for longer, and that was worse. I think old-me's doing alright,
though. You know what I say? As long as you aren't a goblin in a cage
you're as old as you feel."

"That is a very weird metaphor, spaceman," said Donna.

"It's not a metaphor," explained Martha.

So I looked, and behold, a pale horse.
And the name of him who sat on it was Death.
And the name of the horse was Binky.
